The Greatness of the Work

What a calling… What a command… What a cause… What a commitment…
Every great worker of God, in days gone by, one way or another, could see a degree of the GREATNESS of the work and the EXTENT of the cause — and thereby they were all in to see it through.
The degree of our commitment will reveal if we see the greatness of the work and when we don't.
Notice how David shares how he saw the work, who it was for, and what the work required: "Furthermore, David the king said unto all the congregation, "Solomon my son, whom alone God has chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: [KEY] for the work is NOT for man but FOR the LORD God. Now, [because I see and believe the work is a great work], I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God..." (1 Chronicles 29:1-2)
Recognizing and discerning WHO and WHAT a work is for — makes all the difference in how we appreciate, approach, authenticate, applaud, apply, and affirm the cause and commitment. David said the work is great because it's for the Lord. "By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved (was affected) with godly fear, prepared (acted on what arrested his mind and affected his heart) an ark for the saving of his household, and by faith seeing the greatness of the work and committing to it, stood with God, casting condemnation on |
