Passover is an object lesson on salvation by the grace of God from the judgment of God. 1. We should be encouraged by the potency of the blood of the substitutionary lamb.
2. We ashould be strengthened by the life of our living Lord.
3. We should want others to come to the feast. Two reminders relative to getting people to come the feast: First, remember the unbearable strench of the curses on Egyptian idolatry. God wanted the Egyptian idolators to see, feel, taste, and smell their awful idolatry. Put another way "God makes men sensible of their misery" (Jonathan Edwards). Second, Remember people are not much reading their Bibles but they are reading you: "You are our epistle known and read of all men" II Corinthians 3:2.
