The four Gospels dedicate more time and space to the last week of Jesus' ministry than to any other part of his life. That last week, before He is crucified, begins with HIs Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem, being hailed as a King and recognized as the Promised Messiah by the Jews. What is often overlooked is what happened immediately following that event. One of the first things Jesus does after coming to Jerusalem is to go into the Temple and drive out the merchants and the moneychangers, saying that they have made His Father's house a den of thieves. That action was not a one-time event, as He did the same thing at the beginning of His ministry as well. And He is not done cleansing the Temple from greed and false worship, since He continues to do the same thing in the hearts of believers today.
