Recently one of the young preachers at my home church delivered a sermon from over in 1 Peter 3:15, the verse we use as the starting point for apologetics. During the course of his sermon he made the statement about being here in church but that it is different out in the “real world”. This caught my attention, the “real” world verses our “church” world and a few questions arose from the statement. Why are they two different things? We know they need to be separate but why isn't the church world real as well? It seems that there is a disconnect between what we believe here inside of these walls that doesn't always make it's way outside of these walls and that is no good.
