But now God comes to them and commands their return, and they question His assertion; how is it that they have departed from their God? God's reply is that they no longer bring in the tithe that is due to the Lord! As a result, the people are cursed for their disobedience. Yet God offers them full pardon and a glorious blessing if they will return to Him in full homage of worship. Do you tithe? Are you regularly giving to sustain the Gospel enterprise in proportion as God has provided for you?
