Even a Non-Calvinist Can Appreciate This Sermon Brother Baucham, even as a non-Calvinistic non-Southern Baptist I have great appreciation for this message. I particularly take note of your call that the SBC and I would say all churches need to repent of non-regenerate church memberships. In your excellent list of seven things the SBC needs to remember and repent of I would add one, the neglect of having a real corporate church-wide intercessory prayer meeting. If there is ever an area the church is dead in our time this would be one that could too easily be forgotten by men who are obviously spending time in their own prayer closets, not realizing how neglected prayer is by their fellow church members.

Soli Deo Gloria! Brother Baucham, as a rural SBC pastor, let me say that God has used this message to bless and encourage me. I resonated with the whole thing, and near jumped outta my seat a-shoutin' a couple of times. :)
Especially, I wanted you to know that we are out here: the brothers who feel the same way you do, as you expressed in the last several minutes of this message. We want to fight the good fight. We need our brothers. We will struggle and sacrifice because we are thankful for where God has placed us in this (imperfect/flawed/deeply troubled) non-demonination.

Voddie Baucham wears many hats. He is a husband, father, pastor, author, professor, conference speaker and church planter. He currently serves as Pastor of Preaching at Grace Family Baptist Church in Spring, TX. He has served as an adjunct professor at the College of Biblical...
