1 Peter 2 Part 4 | God in His mercy has made a way for salvation through Jesus Christ. Even though the authority may not be doing what God commands them to do, we are to do what God commands us to do. If we suffer for doing what is right we will be blessed. We need to do the right thing even if we suffer, what we will go through is not the final thing. If the reason why we do something is because we are showing reverence towards God it is commendable. Christ suffered for us and therefore we are to respond with unjust suffering keeping our eyes on Jesus. Jesus died to take the punishment for our sins, sin is not good. If God said from now on we can sin without punishment, would we start sinning?
