Provoke {parorgi,zw parorgizo} – means that as FATHERS (and by extension mothers)—you must not irritate, frustrate, aggravate, or discourage your children… because if you do, they may become bitter, hostile, fearful, insecure, resentful, or distant—toward you… and maybe even—towards God… As parents, we should care for and treat our children the way we would want to be cared for and treated—if we were in their place…
