We can see the benefit of having property boundaries so that we know where our property ends and where our neighbor's property begins. It is paradoxical how individuals, families, and nations recognize this principle and yet how when the subject shifts to moral issues and God's commandments they do not want to hear about boundaries anymore. To the contrary, they talk about "freedom" from God's moral boundaries as found in His Law. One of the purposes of God's commandments is to set moral boundaries for all of us. The Law of God indeed no longer condemns us in Christ, but it is yet God's light to direct our paths.
