In Galatians 3, the Apostle Paul had a question for the Galatians – he wanted to know who had 'bewitched' them. In other words, Paul wanted to know who had misled them into turning from a gospel of 'faith' to a gospel of 'works.'
You can't save yourself by keeping the law - and that's because a million cases of obedience cannot offset a single sin. And as Paul suggests throughout Galatians, any 'gospel' that is predicated on works is no gospel at all.
