What I want to do this morning is to put a magnifying glass on these words of Chapter 7, verse one, that say "you alone are righteous before Me in this generation." Last week we examined what it meant for Noah to be called a perfect man. This week we will look closely at what it meant for Noah to be called righteous before God. It is important for us to understand these doctrinal distinctions. When Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord, he received not only an imputed righteousness by faith, a perfect legal standing in God's sight, but he also received imparted grace from the Lord, which led to his personal righteousness being commended by God. So what I am asking of this text this morning is this: How is Noah to be understood as righteous before God in the things that he did by faith? Let me show you 3 things that Noah did that caused God to commend him as a righteous man.
