In v. 1, we see Jesus's focus was on building the kingdom. In vv. 1-3, we see that Jesus chose many members for one body. We also need to promote unity. All members are essential to the church and its mission. We need to be diligent in doing what God has called us to do. Let us be people who are focused on the spreading of the kingdom, unified as the body, and exercising our giftedness to the glory of God.
