The Glory of His Grace

"John, in the book of Revelation, says that there's a blessing in the reading, and the hearing in the keeping of the Word of God. There's a blessing in reading God's word. Matter of fact, John, the apostle says that he had fellowship with God. And he touched him. He heard him, he was around him, and if I want to have fellowship with him, I must have fellowship with them who was willing, you know, that tells me the only way to have fellowship with Jesus is I got to have fellowship with Jesus through those that had fellowship with Him, by the revelation, they tell us about him.
Go to First John, let's look at first John. When people tell you, they don't get nothing out of the Word of God, we just tell them they need to get Jesus and then they will get something out of it. Amen. Honestly, because the way to get something from it, is you got to be in a relationship with Jesus, and not only a relationship with Jesus, but you got to be in relationship to what Jesus said. Watch what he says here. Verse number one of First John, chapter one. First John, one one says, That which was from the beginning, whom we have heard, which, or who we have seen with our eyes, who we have looked upon with our hands, having handled concerning the Word of Life, who is he talking about? Jesus is the Word of life. And that word of life is the light of men. You can't have life in him without light from him. And that light from him his life, he goes on to say, verse two, the life was manifested, and we the apostles that walked with Him have seen and bear witness and we declare to you, that eternal life which was with the Father, and was manife |
