A very confusing passage. I have struggled with this issue as a Christian woman. I wear a head covering because my church requires it, but I have never been convicted to do so. I lean towards it being a cultural practice in Corinth since it is only mentioned the one time. What about foot-washing as Jesus himself commanded his disciples to do or greeting with a holy kiss?
