Today we will address a fourth manifestation of worldliness, that is, the failure to live in the fear of God due to our innate proneness to live in the fear of man. We could distill and express the principle in this way: It is the will of God that we be motivated and that we act with the desire of gaining God’s approval rather than man’s approval; in short, we should live in the fear of God.
