In the support of the Gospel particular attention is drawn to the need for the ministry of the Gospel to be an ongoing matter of prayer for the salvation of all people. Only the Gospel changes lives in ways that are presently and eternally transforming. Involvement in political and social activities undermines, distracts from, and potentially corrupts the proclamation of the Gospel. The Church today is in desperate need of hearing and heeding this warning as was sounded in the early church.
