May it please the Lord for you to receive the "same spiritual food" from the C. D. Alexander writings that I have received for the last 40 years. He gives the Word of God, the Son of God, the Church of God, the Plan and Purpose of God their rightful, exalted place in all his writings. With no man do I agree more fully on prophecy.
I had struggled with these things from late 1960 when the Holy Ghost revealed Christ in my heart (I trust) as my Prophet, Priest, and King (after many months as a poor, lost, guilty, wretched, naked, blind, hopeless and helpless sinner) and I buried my soul in my Lord's Inspired Word and (using my old Unabridged Cruden's Concordance)was brought from the heresies of dispensationalism and foolish literalism to the same position that Mr. Alexander takes. THAT POSITION IS THAT THE NEW TESTAMENT INTERPRETS THE OLD TESTAMENT. We fly to Christ and His apostles whom He led into all truth for the meaning of the prophecies of the Scriptures. The Scripture is our standard. We do not compare with Scofield, Chafer, Walvoord or MacArthur, but we bow to the TRUTH OF GOD and let all men (including ourselves) be liars.
Then when Mr. Alexander came along we found the view that the Lord Himself had led us to through His Holy Word β we found that view in this servant of God. We are delighted that you are putting this on Sermon Audio! Lynn Connell
