While John Calvin was an extraordinary theologian he was not without fault. His famous three uses for the Mosaic Law exhibit a flawed conclusion based on a flawed hermeneutic principle. In this message we look at the third of those three uses, the idea that the Law is used to teach Christians and "whip them" into obedience. Calvin's position on the Law simply cannot be reconciled with New Testament teaching, particulary that of Paul. The Law is obsolete and Calvin's uses are incorrect.
