Moses Goes Before Pharoah
1. Demand the Lord makes of Pharoah
God's plan was to completely remove the Israelites from Egypt

A. God demands demonstrated how unreasonable Pharoah was to a very reasonable request

B. Pharoah's actions demonstrate the justice of the judgment God will finally send on Egypt

C.The nature of God's purpose not to just deliver the Israelite's from slavery but prepare them for worship

God calls us to Himself to be a unique people; not just save us from His wrath!

Salvation is not just escaping condemnation - It is to walk in the love of God and bear His Glory!

D.The nature of the people - they were a sinful people v. 3
Before we are fit for communion with God our sins must be atoned for by Jesus Christ.

2. Defiance of Pharaoh
Pharaoh does not know God / does not obey God / does not fear God

3. Delay that makes things get worse

All of God's delays are wise; they are part of His plan and purpose.

This delay makes the Israelites long for freedom.

4. Discouraged People
They go to Pharaoh for relief instead of crying out to God
They blame Moses and Aaron and act like God is not in control

5. Moses turns to the Lord for help v. 22
