There is a whole lot happening in Exodus 15, a place where we see the LORD giving Moses and the Jews an amazing miracle victory in the crossing of the Red Sea as the armies of Pharaoh and his riders on horseback are pursuing them. They are singing and dancing before the LORD, and there is so much prophecy packed in here about coming events yet future of this writing that the mind can scarcely comprehend it. On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we are picking up the action at the Red Sea, an event so incredible that it slips right through the fingers of the Greek and Hebrew "scholars" as they reduce the magnificent prophecy found here to poetry, and in doing so miss the whole thing by a country mile. But for the Bible believer, for the student of the word, this is a rich harvest field indeed, and though it be well-ploughed by Scofield, Larkin and Ruckman, there are some gorgeous 'handfuls of purpose' for us to glean, and glean we shall do! Do you realize that you give God glory when you open His word, read it as it stands in the context, and then believe it? God spent 1,500 years of earth time to write this Book through the men of His choosing, isn't it time you look at it the way He looks at it? Tonight on 'Rightly Dividing', we go digging for end times prophecy like clams in the Red Sea, and come up with a bucketful! |
