Having just expressed the immutability of the plans of God, being established and unchangeable, being higher, greater, and wholly exhaustive in scope and power, Solomon turns to reflect and even dig deeper into the plight of men in relationship to power and death.
Injustice and death afflict all creatures, and whether human or animal, one day blood stops pumping and breath will enter and exit our lungs for the last time. Death comes for us all, all are headed toward the grave, and whilst we live we often do so under the weight of those who oppress and afflict us.
