This morning, we will go back to the beginning. We will hear the empty promises of God’s adversary, the devil. We will experience the truth that the way of the transgressor is hard (Proverbs 13:15). We will understand why people run from problems (flight) and fight with each other. We will see how shame leads us to cover things up and desire to live in shadows. We will know the weight of guilt and see how irresponsibility causes problems to increase. In the middle of two messy lives and a universe that felt the weight of their choices, we will see God enter, seek, speak, give hope through the gospel, illustrate redemption, and provide a second chance. This morning, the title will be “The Redeemer is Promised.” We will consider 1) The Reality of Temptation (1-6) 2) The Results of the Fall (7-14), and 3) The Redeemer is Promised and will purchase Redemption |
