Dealing with the Dense John 8:21-31 The Message deals with the Hard hearts of sinners. No matter how clear you make the Gospel, some folks will not understand it or do not want to understand it. Jesus encountered the same indifference to His message that we encounter today when we are trying to win someone to Christ. John chapter eight is a sample of the darkness and denseness of men who "don't get it" when it comes to the matter about salvation through Jesus Christ.Seeking involves going God's way. Jesus said, "I go MY way." This is at the heart of the conflict between men and Christ. It is Christ's way versus man's way and will. Now is the time to seek the Lord in your life. After you are dead, it will be too late. Our citizenship as believers is not here, it is in Heaven. As citizens are identified with their country, we are identified with Heaven and with the Lord.Citizens are under the authority and laws of their country. We are under the authority of Jesus Christ.Wherever a citizen goes, he is a citizen of that country, and in a way represents that country by his actions. People watch how he behaves, especially if he is in a foreign country. The same truth holds true for Christians. We are ambassadors of Christ and people are watching us.
