This was a global catastrophe that completely reset life on earth, and this is no fairytale. God judged the world with water but another judgment is coming. 2 Peter 3:5 says – the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, 6 and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. 7 But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. Friends another judgment day is coming and if we think that after all the grace that God has shown this world in the cross of his Son Jesus that he will not judge us, we are delusional. Oh yes there are those who mock and shake their heads at such a message. They scoffed at it in Noah's day too, but one day, our door of grace will be also shut, the fires of God's judgment will fall and only those in Christ will survive.
