This is a study of Paul’s first epistle, the epistle to the Church at Thessalonica. This is the first epistle that Paul ever wrote. Thessalonica was a Roman Colony city, right in the heart of the Roman empire, with a rich, long and varied history. Here Paul had brought the Gospel and now is writing to them concerning their lives as believers who are already suffering for their faith in Jesus Christ. In this study we look at Saul’s statement that he was thwarted by Satan in his plan to return to visit the Thessalonians. Here we look at God’s wonderful power and desire to take the worst that men and angels can offer and turn it into His good.
