In this series on Basic Bible Doctrines we are considering several of the elementary truths of God's Word regarding the God's revelation of himself and the work of Redemption.
We are progressing through a series of studies on the Ordo Salutis (or Order of Salvation).
With thismorning's study we are looking at the second outworking of God's grace in the hearts and souls of men: JUSTIFICATION.
Before time God sovereignly determines to save his own. In time he effectually calls them. The result of this call is the regeneration of their hearts. This becomes evident when they are brought to faith and show that they are converted.
The result of conversion is Faith and Repentance. The result of faith... is Justification.
In our study of Romans 3, we find the Apostle Paul speaking of a Righteousness apart from the law... that is one of imputed righteousness.
