When Adam was created he was in a relationship of Sonship with God. Luke refers to him as "Adam the son of God". By virtue of that Sonship all of the life of God and the riches of God were his. When Adam sinned he and we in him not only lost all the riches of everlasting life and Fellowship with God but we incurred a debt that we could never pay. All of the riches that are in Christ are offered to the whole world. What Peter declared to Cornelius was and is the true wealth of the nations. We are called faithfully declare that gospel to the world.
