Is America a Modern Day Sodom? The message today points out our sin as a nation and especially as it deals with the sin of homosexuality. This danger of this sin is denounced and shown. God was willing to destroy two whole cities and the surrounding areas due to this terrible sin.
This sin shows a culture in advanced state of corruption. The sin was worth of judgement and death (as are other sins.) We Christians must repent and our nation must repent or realize the judgement of God may come.
Pastor Hill also points out the great hope of salvation for those who run to Christ for forgiveness from this sin. Paul said in 1 Corinthians that many of the people from this early church had this sin and overcame by the blood of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ.
