The day of the Lord will come suddenly and unexpectedly bringing to an end the time for believers to grow and unbelievers to be saved. God has foretold some of the events that will take place during this time. Inclusive in the time of the day of the Lord will be the great tribulation, the second coming of Jesus Christ to the earth, Armagedon, and the great white throne judgment, all following the rapture of the Church. While God is giving opportunity for believers to grow and to witness to the unbeliever that they might be saved, this opportunity is at hand and will come to an end. Disregarding or denying what God has foretold will only be to the detriment of those so doing and will not keep it from coming on God's time schedule. Believers are reminded to be living with an eager anticipation and readiness for it to begin at any time.
