Pastor Simpson, continuing our study in 1 Timothy, wrapped up the fourth chapter the same way the Apostle Paul did, exhorting the church in the Word of God and in truth. Knowing how to behave ourselves in and out of the church distinguish the believer from other. We were exhorted to give close attention to our behavior as it relates to what we say and how we say it; in conversation, meaning in the way we live; in charity, being a person of generosity; in spiritual things, doing things that are good for us; in faith and in purity. There are some that might say the gospel is not being preached, but we are called to preach the Word of God in its entirety. Knowing how we're to behave ourselves as believers is something Paul found important, and so should we. Let the Scriptures guide you in all manner of wisdom to know how to behave in and out of church.
