Dr. Mark Clements is being announced as the candidate for Associate Pastor. Job Description: 1.) Care for the body. 2.) Administration&Operation mindset. 3.) Outreach&evangelism focus. His Background: Late this spring the church leaders were moved by the Holy Spirit to consider adding the position. Deacons and pastor all kept bringing up Marks' name w/o talking to each other. Characteristics Required for the position: Humble, Godly walk, right fit for the church, understands how to minister to the people through grace, knows how to care for people, his gifts must compliment the pastor. Marks' Qualifications: 21 years in the ministry, he's ministered in a similar church early in his career, his family understands our church, completed his Doctorate work last year, pastor values several traits in Mark's life including attention to detail, his walk w/God is evident, Mark cares for people, he has a desire and the training to train disciples in lay people, the church knows Mark well. Timetable: Nov. 8th - questions @ 3 PM; 15th - Mark will preach; 22nd - vote.
