Paul Scharf, church ministries representative for The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, shares remembrances of the Reformation in pictures for this Reformation Day—focusing on Luther's experiences leading up to the Diet of Worms, held April 16-18, 1521. Scharf is quoting in this video from Dr. Erwin Lutzer's book, "Rescuing the Gospel: The Story and Significance of the Reformation" (Grand Rapids: Baker Books, 2016), which was a textbook for this study presented in 2019, of which this is just one installment, and the only session that was recorded on video in this way. Scharf took the pictures of German sites on a 2017 500th anniversary Reformation tour, in which he was privileged to participate. We present this video with appreciation to Faith Bible Church in Rio, Wis., for which it was made; and to Shepherds Theological Seminary in Cary, N.C., where it was made, for there cooperation. Thanks in particular go to Alan Jones, at Shepherds, for his technical assistance in creating the video. Happy Reformation Day!
