Today, I want to point you to the place you must go as you face trials in your life-- the Word of God. This is where I want to take you today. We are going to look at a passage in 2 Corinthians 4:7-18, and our thought is going to be The Beauty of Broken: God’s power displayed in Our Weaknesses. Paul would write later in this letter in 2 Corinthians 12:9 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” We will discuss: 1) The Christian life is full of undeserved power 2) The Christian life is filled with an unselfish passion for Christ, the church, and the world. 3) The Christian life has an upside down perspective of life. Let’s enter Corinth and find out what Paul had to say to the church.
