As our series continues we see the events that take place after the healing of the lame man who had been healed. After the miraculous healing, there was a multitude that came together to see and hear what had taken place.
All the activity drew the attention of the Jewish leaders who initially had them put into custody, and the next day inquired of them who gave them this power or authority to do these things.
Peter and John answered boldly, this man was made whole by the name of Jesus of Nazareth. The Jewish leaders had nothing to say... in part because the man who had been lame stood with them. Although they forbade them to speak any more in Jesus' name, Peter and John said they would listen to God and not to men.
