Pete Youmans was born in Muskegon, Michigan. When his family began attending a Bible teaching church, he came to trust Christ as his Savior at the age of 12. Pete has been married for 27 years to his wife Hilda. They have three adult children, Jessica, Heather, and Peter. He serves as pastor of Davidson Baptist Church in Hazard, Kentucky. Pete has been married for 27 years to his wife Hilda. They have three adult children, Jessica, Heather, and Peter. He serves as pastor of Davidson Baptist Church in Hazard, Kentucky. He has also had opportunities to train pastors in Egypt and Jordan. He is currently an adjunct professor at Piedmont Baptist College and Hazard Community College. He received his Bachelors in Bible from Tennessee Temple University and his Master of Divinity from Temple Baptist Theological Seminary. He has also received a Doctor of Ministry from Luther Rice Seminary and a Ph.D. in Old Testament from Piedmont Graduate School.
