We all know that Satan hates all Christians, but if he cannot succeed in keeping you from getting saved, here are several things he will work at to make you weak. He will try to make you a grouch. I mean you will act like a setting hen who will peck the blood out of people when they get too close to her. A grouch is always sarcastic, pessimistic, fussy, complaining, whining like a spoiled brat, and always unhappy, causing others to be discouraged. A grouch can just walk into your room and immediately you feel the gloom and pessimism set in! He discourages and people do not like to be around him. Satan is very proud of that kind of a fellow! He does not draw people to the Lord, but sets a poor example.

A lukewarm Christian is always appreciated and supported by Satan. Satan wants the believer to be cold, dead and indifferent. That condition repels folks.

A lazy Christian is also helping the devil damn people. A Christian worker should earn every penny by doing an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay. Otherwise he is a stumbling block.

A worldly Christian who talks like the world, lives in sin and is careless about his words and deeds is aiding Satan. Some Christians are so much like the sinful world that no one can tell the difference. Christians should be distinctively Christians.
