Probably most of you have heard the story of a lad who wanted to march down the village main street in a parade one time. He was accepted, but warned from the leader that he must stay in step with the music. The band starts playing and the lad starts marching, but he was terribly out of step with the parade marchers. He caused the ones behind him to get out of step with the music, and ruined their otherwise beautiful performance. When scolded by the leader afterwards, they found he had a hidden tape recorder under his clothes from which he was listening. He was marching to a different music and different drumbeat. No wonder he was out of step with the right music for the good parade!

For those who are not believers, not blood washed, born again people of God, you are absolutely out of step with God’s parade. You are indeed marching to the wrong drumbeat. You know, the devil has his own parade and most people are in it. But you need to get out and march in the King’s army; I mean become a Child of God.

Those in Satan’s parade are usually marching with the multitude of marchers in his parade to eternal punishment. They look attractive, but the end of their parade route is horrible indeed. If today you are marching to the wrong drumbeat, it means you are following the wrong drummer and need a new Master, and his name is Jesus. The Bible tells us we can become a changed person, and completely transformed by our God. Then, and then only can we be in step with our eternal God. II Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.”
