We enjoy talking about many wonderful things that there will be in Heaven. The fact that Jesus will be there is the greatest news of all. The street of gold, mansions there, gates of pearl, beautiful colors, and saints of God certainly appeal to us who know God.

Nearly everyone would like to think they will be there one-second after death, but frankly very few will get to go! Only the ones who obey John 3:7 will go: “Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again.” Without that conversion, transformation, salvation, Hell will be your dwelling place for eternity.

Without the new birth you cannot get in. Even if you could go to heaven you would not like it. Without conversion you could not stand a prayer meeting service. Here on earth you are ashamed to say the name Jesus. The unconverted on earth want to destroy the churches that preach salvation by grace through faith. You would be miserable in Heaven because spiritual things are happening all the time. You would hate Heaven and God would not be fair if He forced you into Heaven’s atmosphere. You would be bored stiff at the praises, hymns, and sermons. I know you would because that is the way you are down here. Truly, Heaven is for the transformed soul. If a lost sinner like you were there, you would be trying to find a bar room and a six pack of beer, and you would be angry because there are no cigarette machines, no whiskey or alcoholic beverages in the Father’s house.

Some of you would miss the pornographic literature and filthy movies. In Heaven there are no nude women, dice rolling, or casinos to be found. You would miss using God’s name in vain and all that cussing, bad, filthy, vulgar language like they have at the corner bar. There are no dance floors, bar rooms, or fortune telling going on in Heaven. Unless your heart is changed through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, you will not go there, and even if you could, you would not enjoy the fellowship of Christ and Heaven.

In Heaven there will not be thousands of babies being killed in their mother’s womb before they even see the light of day. Oh what a shame! We call it women’s rights, but God would call it murder! What about the little helpless babies’ rights? In my Father’s house there will be no couples living together without a marriage license. It may seem popular with people of our day, but God calls it adultery. Sodom and Gomorrah were living in adultery, drunkenness and sin for a while, but God sent judgment upon them. Will we escape judgment? I think not!
