Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Very few will be saved and be with Christ in Heaven. Many say, “I am O.K.,” but do not really know what conversion, transformation, and being saved means.

Many go to Hell from church pews. Some who will miss Heaven have tried to be deacons, Sunday school teachers, or preachers without ever having a real salvation experience. Some go to Hell after a lifetime of trying to be a worker of some kind in the local church. In fact, some churches are not even preaching God’s plan of salvation. Some are false and some are real! False religion sends more people to Hell than Bourbon Street, and believe me, it does its part!

Get your Bible out, study it, and pray about where to worship and go there until your spiritual eyes of understanding are opened. Not everyone who shouts, “Lord, Lord” shall enter the kingdom of Heaven. You can surely to go Hell from a bar room, a house of prostitution, or a church pew. The only cure is found in God’s Word. He tells us in John 3:7, “Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again.” There is no other way.
