Someday, perhaps soon, this earthly life for Christians will cease. There will be the voice of the archangel, the trump of God, and the Lord Jesus shall descend from heaven with a shout. We will be caught up to meet Him in the air and forever be with the One Who loved us and bought us from the slave market of sin. For all eternity we will stand in His presence with the redeemed of all ages. The depth of the experience of this anticipated event is unknown: however, we do know it will be a climatic time for us believers who have been forgiven and cleansed by His own precious blood. We will be transported into His presence by His mighty power, received in love, dealt with by grace, rewarded because of His goodness, behold His glory, take on His likeness, and be forever sealed in holiness. Won’t it be wonderful there with Jesus in those mansions sublime, where there is no more curse, tears, death, sorrow or pain?
Jesus is personally coming for us. Study the following Scripture:
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14: 3
Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Acts 1:11
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. I Thessalonians 4:16-17
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Revelation 22:20
When Jesus comes you are going to be with Him, aren’t you? To be with Jesus you must prepare to meet Him as the Bible says.
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Matthew 24:44
Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 20:21
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:8-10
Now would be a good time to pray the SINNER”S PRAYER: God be merciful to me a sinner! I believe Christ died for me and that His Precious Blood will cleanse me from all my sin. By faith I now repent of my sins and receive the Lord Jesus Christ into my heart as my Lord and my Saviour, trusting Him and Him alone for the salvation of my soul. Help me Lord to do Thy will each day. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!
