For the scripture saith , Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. (Romans 10:11) saith . We know we are sinners because the scripture saith so. We know that God saves sinners, because the scripture saith so. We know how God saves sinners, because of what the scriptures saith. I have never much valued the opinions of men, and they become even more contemptible as I get older, and as folks seem more and more determined to express them.
