CALL TO WORSHIP
Thou art THE WAY, to Thee alone
From sin and death we flee;
And he who would the Father seek
Must seek Him, Lord, by Thee.
Thou art THE TRUTH; Thy word alone
True wisdom can impart;
Thou only can inform the mind
And purify the heart.
Thou art THE LIFE; the open tomb
Proclaims Thy conquering arm;
And those who have their trust in Thee
Nor death nor hell can harm.
Thou art THE WAY, THE TRUTH, THE LIFE;
Grant us that WAY to know,
That TRUTH to keep, that LIFE to win,
Whose joys eternal flow.

COMPLETE IN CHRIST
“And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.” (Colossians 2:10)
Salvation that is all in Christ and because of Christ is the best news a sinner will ever hear. In Christ we are complete, lacking nothing we need to stand perfect before God. The work of redemption has been completed. There isn’t one thing left for the sinner to do. In Christ we are completely righteous. (II Cor. 5:21). In Christ we are completely holy (Eph. 1:4, Col. 1:22). In Christ we are completely justified (Rom. 3:24) In Christ we are completely redeemed (Eph. 1:7). In Christ we are completely forgiven (Col. 1:14) In Christ we are completely cleansed from all of our sin (I John 1:7). In Christ we are completely loved and accepted by the Father (Eph. 1:6). I cannot get any more righteous, any more holy, any more justified, any more forgiven, any more cleansed or any more accepted than I am right now if I am in Christ. That is the only message that will give peace and assurance to my soul.

FOUR ESSENTIALS TO PROPER WORSHIP
In a careful study through the book of Leviticus you will learn how to approach and worship our holy God. There are four essentials to proper worship: the tabernacle, the altar, the blood sacrifice and the priest. In the Lord Jesus Christ, all that was pictured is perfectly fulfilled in Him (Matt.5:17). Christ is the Tabernacle (John 1:14). Christ is the Altar (Heb. 13:10). Christ is the blood Sacrifice (Heb. 9:11-12). Christ is the Great High Priest (Heb. 4:14-16; 7:22-26; 8:1). Only through the Lord Jesus Christ can guilty sinners approach a thrice holy God and be accepted in the Beloved (John 14:6; Eph. 1:3-6). All of this to the praise of the glory of His grace!

THE MIRACLE OF SALVATION
The Lord Jesus Christ performed many miracles while upon this earth. He cast out devils, healed lepers, gave sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf; He raised the dead. While these miracles certainly proved him to be the Christ, they are also illustrations of how the Lord saves sinners. Every sinner the Lord saves is all these things...possessed by a devil, a sinful leper, deaf, dumb, blind, and dead in sin. Salvation is a miracle of God’ s sovereign grace and power. Nothing more or less can save a sinner but the power of Christ; the Word, the Truth and the Gospel. May the Lord be pleased to perform a miracle today!

Reformed or Transformed
Some men like to identify themselves after a 500-year-old religious movement. They call themselves and their gospel, “Reformed”. Much could be said about the futility of trying to reform error. Be that as it is, let us rejoice that our gospel is infinitely older than 500 years. Let us seek our Lord, not in the opinions of “reformers”, but in the inspired word of God. Let us prove what is the acceptable will of God by a renewed mind, transformed in Christ Jesus.
