When all the world shake and trembles around us, when fear stalks the land and invades the minds and hearts of worldlings, when terror comes at them consuming their joy, their hope, their very lives... what is the response of the one who trusts in the Lord our God? We are called to stand in the strength and power of the Almighty One. The maker of heaven and earth who Himself controls every single aspect of His creation. We are called to remember that although we cannot see the end, or even the way with clarity, our God not only sees it, but has Himself decreed its every turn, governing all of the minute details that will ensure its completion. We are called to remember that not only are we safe in the perfection of His omnipotent will, but we are secure in the hollow of His hand. We are commanded to remember that He has promised to guard us as the apple of His eye, and come what may we are as safe as babe in the arms of his loving mother. We are further instructed to contemplate these truths and to turn them back to praise, that our testimony before a shaken and distraught world would resonate clearly through the darkness that entraps them. What we are NEVER to do, precious child, is to give in to fear and hysteria, to surrender to doubt and worry, and to join in the mad rush to find some pretense of security in the empty promises of impotent man. Man does not have the power to change one hair on his head, he cannot change the will and purpose of God, and he cannot alter one single circumstance in his life against the will of the Almighty... understand this basic truth my beloved, in God ALONE there is hope, in God ALONE there is safety, in God ALONE there is strength, and in God ALONE there is the promise of life. Do not rely on the works of man, trust ONLY in the Lord our God, for there you will find purpose, hope and a future!!
