The reality of our lives is that we are now saints. The scripture calls us saints repeatedly and challenges us to live according to that new nature. The title of saint is not scripturally reserved for someone that councils decree to have done something special… it is not about miracles, and does not convey access to God more than any other believer. The title of saint is given by God to every single person who has placed their trust in Jesus Christ and carries with it all of the rights and privileges that it implies. Understand this truth, beloved of God, you do not need anyone else besides Jesus Christ to intercede on your behalf - you have FULL access to Him by the blood of Jesus. But also we must recognize that we bear the responsibilities that are implied as well. We are not free to follow the dictates of our old nature, we are not free to satisfy only ourselves, we are not free to disregard what God has commanded in His word. We enjoy the blessing, we enjoy the delights, but we must also carry the name of Jesus in such a way that we do not dishonor Him. We ARE saints, we must live this out fully, and obey the commands of our Heavenly Father. Oh, beloved, do not allow the ideas of the world to dictate what you think or believe; you are no longer a part of that old kingdom, you are now citizens of the Kingdom of the Son!!!
