In this day, this powerful promise is even more precious to us. He will deliver us from all our fears. There are many who seek to inflame our terror, who desire to cause us to doubt our God. But beloved of the Most High, hear and understand the truth - the same God sits on the same throne where He has ruled over all His creation since before it was even formed. We do not need to fear fire, storms, plagues, wars and rumors of war... we are secure in the midst of great economic turmoil, we are secure in the midst of famine... there is nothing that can touch us that has not first passed through the loving hands of our omnipotent Father!!! He guards His own and governs His world to bring about all His Holy Will... Therefore, laugh at calamity, rejoice where others fear, for our God is God, and He does all that He pleases! So what is the solution to the fear-mongering that plagues us? The psalmist gives us the only true solution; seek the Lord, fix your eyes on HIM rather than on the circumstances of the day. Let your soul make its boast in God Almighty, magnify His glory and declare His praises. He WILL deliver you from ALL your fears!!
