Here is a powerful promise for us to cling to this day. No matter what you are facing, your loving Heavenly Father has known it (having planned it) but has also prepared a way that you might bear it, in other words, to stand up under it. This is a position of victory, of triumph, the place of the overcomer! Implied in this truth is a related thought, this current trial, temptation, difficulty is designed by God for your good. He intends to bless you with it, through it, by it... we don't need to see how, or even feel it, but we do need to believe it. We are safe in the hands and safe in the PLAN of the Father. And more, this also sets the boundaries of that help, for the way provided is from God, in His person, as a result of us being His! Do not for one minute think that God has made you strong enough to do anything without His immediate help and power. He has crafted you for Himself, for His glory, and determined your days to walk with Him in the display OF that glory. This present trial, this passing pain, this momentary affliction should drive you always towards Him, never away. Oh beloved, be sure of your aim, run to God and find in Him all the strength you would ever need supplied in the grace of His presence.
