If you watch televsion, Christmas is full of partying and gift giving. Every Hallmark movie has a happy ending. However in reality, for many this time of year is a time of sadness and loneliness. Many seek solace in alcohol or drugs. The true meaning of Christmas is that Jesus Christ left His throne in Heaven to be born of a virgin here on earth; live a sinless life; shed His blood and die on the cross; and on the third day rose bodily from the grave to offer salvation to all who will turn from their sin and ask for forgiveness. His love for us extends to all ... Isaiah 61:3 "To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified." In this Christmas season if you are feeling lonely remember, the LORD loves you and is waiting for you to call out to Him. If you are in our area, we would love for you to come see our Christmas program "The Greatest Story Ever Told" on Dec. 8th & 9th at 6:30pm
