This is a very serious question in this Lord's day. Are ALL men saved? It has far reaching consequences going into and dealing with man's destiny. Salvation is in Christ alone and the knowledge of Him and not ALL men are saved. Many who believe in a heaven not based of faith (True faith) in Christ only will experience that this notion is a fallacy.

All who perished in Adam are not saved in Christ. In the old testament many nations had no part in God's promises. Death is universal but salvation is not! We have seen the concept of sin, our restoration in a Mediator in Christ and our knowledge of our Mediator that we learn from the Gospel. Christ...the ONLY way of salvation! What is the distinction in us that makes us different from others though? He speaks of the Shepherd and His sheep who hear His voice and they hear Him and know Him while others do not because as Christ says "they are not mine!" As the Gospel is preached God makes a distinction and belief is not mixed with faith.

Faith! Unless belief is mixed with faith you have NOTHING. One can only take hold of Christ by faith by the renewing of the heart by the Holy Spirit who gives life saving faith whereby we can say "I believe!" (Ephesians.) By grace are ye saved through faith. The work of the living God that we can believe the glorious Gospel (Christ) who is our salvation. We must know what faith is. Those who are engrafted into Christ receive His blessings" 1. Engrafted by God into Christ in His sovereign election...that's faith! 2. After being engrafted we receive His benefits. God calls internally what is externally preached and uses it to call His people to a living faith and belief and gives those an aptitude to take hold of and believe! Except a man is born again he cannot believe (Nicodemus.) This is why the Gospel is ALWAYS Christ and Him crucified. In believing the Gospel you have heaven. He chooses a church in Christ and history is all redemptive history and you find the church where the Gospel is preached and mission work to preach the Gospel and God uses it all in the unbreakable chain of salvation!

The result is very clear. The Holy Spirit binds it upon our heart. 2 things here. Faith is a knowledge and confidence. If one is knowledgeable you will notice he will speak regarding and will be overflowing with confidence and information. That's why we must know it. What can you take hold of if you don't know it???? Only then can you be confident!!! In death and the "monkey wrenches" of our lives what is the knowledge that is our confidence? We have a calm understanding and know that my Redeemer lives and has prepared a place for ME in GLORY! The Bible tells me so and He assures me that it's TRUE!
