Pastor warned by police not to share Bible’s position on homosexuality
A pastor in Cornwall has been advised by the police not to offend LGBT people after he celebrated the cancellation of a gay pride event on Facebook.

When Cornwall Pride announced its annual march would not go ahead this year following concerns about social distancing, Pastor Josh Williamson of Newquay Baptist Church called it “Wonderful news”.

When challenged, he said it was because he did not like to see sin celebrated, and quoted from the Bible to support his position.

From Article:-
""Pastor Williamson said: “My family and I, and our church community, have been very concerned by the level of anti-Christian abuse and threats of violence that we have been targeted with over the past few weeks.""

The battle continues. Christians must remember that this is a fallen world and the unconverted reprobates hate us and reject our Bible based arguments. They strongly object to our quote, "interfering " with their sinful lifestyles.

GOD must change their hearts, but HE is not going to convert everybody. Thus the persecution of the Church is a reality as it has been for millennia.

But when 'WE' speak we are obliged of GOD to speak truth which is recorded in the Bible. Even if the fallen worlds police and courts require us not to.

Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake."

"For my sake" - For the sake of Christ Jesus. God's task for His Church is to teach the truth unto salvation.

GOD bless this and all churches. Amen.

Like you John UK, I do not like social media and have no accounts on any social media website. However, it can be useful for churches and pastors, if they have the internet knowledge, and provided that they are very judicious, to share the gospel and news of their church. The pastor, elders and church do need great wisdom. I think LGBTQI+ organisations, have a special department spending all their days trawling over the social media picking out what they can sue over, or report to overzealous politically correct police forces.
