Seven years after stepping down, Benedict fuels 'two popes' headache
Seven years after his surprise resignation, Benedict XVI -- weakened by age but still intellectually spry -- appears unable to remain in the shadow of his Argentinean successor Francis, creating the appearance of "two popes" at odds.

On February 11, 2013, at the age of 85, the German intellectual Joseph Ratzinger announced in Latin to astonished cardinals that he would cease being pope, a situation unheard of for seven centuries.

For five years, the unusual cohabitation in the smallest state in the world between the 265th pope in retirement and the 266th, Francis, went on without a hitch. ...

This past Sunday at my Baptist Church the sermon was given by Pastor Steve and was titled "Better By Far" from Philippians 1:19-26. The sermon was about Paul's desire to go to Heaven. After the sermon Holy Communion was celebrated. I partook of Holy Communion.

As to the Benedict XVI and Francis I situation, I have grave suspicions that a cabal if leftist cardinals, supported by secular globalist authorities, engineered and pressured the resignation of Benedict XVI who was not willing to go along with their agenda, and secured the election of their favoured candidate, Francis I, who is globalist, socialist, interfaith, environmentalist and very liberal to the core.

I believe that he is a false prophet, definitely, but laying the ground for one of his successors, who will be a “miracle worker”, perhaps out of the Catholic Charismatic Movement, to be the False Prophet, who supports the Antichrist in the Great Tribukatjon.

To return to the two Popes, I have 2 points to make. There were often times in papal history when there were rival Popes, much to the scandal of the church. One time, I believe was during the infamous papacies in the late 800’s and in the 900’s AD, when a mother, daughter (who were mistresses of some of the Popes), and son of an infamous Roman family created a series of short lived and highly immoral Popes, and in the later Middle Ages, after about 100 years and about 7 Popes in the pocket of the King of Francewho reigned in Avignon in France rather than Rome, there was then a complete divide and 2 Popes, and then at one point, 3 Popes all reigning at the same time, different European countries supporting different Popes, until finally the Council of Constance, the same one that burnt the pre-Reformer Jan Huss, and his friend Jerome of Prague, finally deposed all 3, and elected Pope Martin V to unify the Papacy again.

Even now, there are 2 very, very minor antipopes, who are only known in their immediate circle, one who is in USA, and one who is the leader of a secretive pseudo-Catholic cult in southern Spain near Seville, I think.

As to the Benedict XVI and Francis I situation, I have great suspicions that leftist cardinals supported by leftist secular authorities, had s

More crowdfunding , Timothy?

As one British doctor put it,

Kitty Worthing wrote:
Data sharing and charging have a cumulative effect: they deter patients from seeking and receiving potentially life-saving treatment, and ultimately, people die. I know of patients who have had to crowdfund thousands of pounds [£]for necessary and unavoidable care, something that is more common in countries like the United States. The government knows that if a patient isn’t able to raise those funds and is denied care, they will not receive any care at all.

....The charging system is framed as part of efforts to reduce NHS overspending. However, so-called “deliberate health tourism” accounts for only 0.3% of the NHS annual budget, compared to the massive debt of over £200bn to private finance initiatives for contracts such as those in the NHS. It is clear that these callous policies are ideologically motivated, and that healthcare is being used to extend the hostile environment and to scapegoat migrants for the underfunding and privatisation of our NHS.

excerpt from, "As a doctor, I can see that denying NHS care to immigrants is inhumane"

Apparently, Timothy, you're just going to have to support Obamacare.

Jim, I’m sure you’re familiar with the economic concept of opportunity cost. If I have to spend my few dollars of disposable income to provide universal healthcare for illegal aliens and lazy bums who won’t work, I won’t have any money left to help “flood the area with...missionaries.”

...the official papal follow-up to the bishops' Amazon meeting last year — that called for no substantive change. The document was in turn a poetic tribute to environmental beauty and a warning about its destruction. But on the topic of priestly shortages, Francis simply asked bishops to pray for more vocations and urged missionaries¹ to head to the Amazon.

Those modest recommendations acted as a reminder of how Francis, despite a reputation as a reformer, has proceeded with caution in the face of deepening polarization within the church and traditionalist opposition to his papacy....

excerpt from, "Pope Francis backs away from celibacy exception, putting off decision on allowing married priests in the Amazon"

¹ Yes, this would be an excellent time to flood the area with Protestant missionaries❗👍 Help lead these people to Christianity. (Come out of the Catholic Church)

Why don’t they just murder one of the popes? They’ve done plenty of that in the past.

The pope is the papal anti-christ!

WCF 25/6. There is no other Head of the Church but the Lord Jesus Christ:a nor can the Pope of Rome, in any sense be head thereof; but is that Antichrist, that man of sin and son of perdition, that exalteth himself in the Church against Christ, and all that is called God.b"

a. Eph 1:22; Col 1:18. • b. Mat 23:8-10; 2 Thes 2:3-4, 8-9; Rev 13:6."

Having two popes must be very confusing for the Vatican. But then the Vatican has been confused about religious matters for centuries.

The simple fact that having two bosses is always difficult in human groups should have told the RCC that 2xPapal anti-christs would cause myriad of problems.

But it is all good comedy soap opera for the Protestants.

1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time."

2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist."

“the 265th pope in retirement and the 266th, Francis…” succession of popes in the life of the 4th and the last beast as prophesied by prophet Daniel.

“It is clearly evident then, that the little horn of Daniel chapter seven is not one individual but is a kingdom with its dynasty of kings. This dynasty is not only foretold by Daniel under the symbolism of a little horn, but further expounded on by our Lord Jesus Christ, the Apostle Paul and the Apostle John in the New Testament Scriptures. It is the purpose of this book to demonstrate that the preaching of the Great Cloud of Witnesses of all Ages in the Church is true and that the little horn is none other than the Dynasty of Rome’s Popes and that therefore THE POPE IS THE ANTICHRIST.“ - Dr. Ian Paisley
